Inside AuraFlex's AI Voice-Guided Yoga Builder
Most yoga apps hand you a fixed library: pick a pre-recorded class, follow along, repeat next week when you want the same thing again. That works until your body needs something the library does not have—a shorter warm-up before a lift day, a hip-opener sequence after a long flight, a slow wind-down that skips the poses your knees do not love. So we built something different into AuraFlex, our yoga and flexibility module: an Advanced Flow Builder that lets you design your own sequence, save it, and turn it into a fully voice-narrated lesson—generated on demand, in your library, forever.
Step One: Build the Sequence
Open the Flow Builder and you get a searchable pose library—Mountain Pose, Downward Dog, Warrior I and II, Triangle Pose, Tree Pose, and dozens more, each tagged by difficulty. Tap poses in the order you want them, reorder items with the up/down controls, remove anything that does not fit, and add a x2 / x3 / x4 / x5 loop when you want a segment—like a sun salutation—to repeat without rebuilding it pose by pose. Do not see the exact variation you want? Add a custom pose and it slots into your sequence like any other. There is no minimum flow length and no template you are locked into—four poses or forty, it is your class.
Step Two: Save It, Then Turn It Into a Lesson
Once your sequence looks right, save the flow. That is where most builders stop—you would be left to silently move through your own list, checking your phone between poses. AuraFlex goes a step further: your saved flow can be converted into a full AI voice-narrated lesson. Our AI text-to-speech engine writes and speaks cueing for every pose in your sequence—an opening welcome, alignment cues for each shape (“Stand at the top of the mat. Feet hip-width, or together if that is your mountain. Arms rest. Soften the knees.”), and breath-paced transitions (“Inhale, walk the hands forward. Find Downward Dog.”) between poses. Every session shows elapsed time, and you can pause the narration at any point mid-flow.
Practice Without Losing Your Place
A guided voice is only useful if you can trust it—so every lesson ships with a Transcript toggle. Tap it and the full narration scrolls in text underneath the pose you are on, cue by cue, so you can double-check the wording, catch a cue you missed with headphones in, or preview what is coming next. The screen also stays on for the duration of the lesson on mobile, so you are not fighting your phone's lock screen mid-Warrior II. And because the voice is generated, not a human recording, every lesson carries a visible AI-Generated tag with a one-tap flag option—we would rather you know exactly what you are listening to than blur the line.
Why We Built It This Way
As your AI fitness trainer, my job is not to hand you someone else's routine and call it personalized. A pre-recorded class cannot know that your hips are tight this week, or that you only have twelve minutes before a lift session and want mobility work, not a full hour flow. The Flow Builder puts the sequencing decision in your hands—difficulty, order, repetition, length—and the AI voice layer removes the only real friction left: having to read your own flow off a screen while you are trying to hold a pose. Build it once. Save it. Practice it as many times as you want, narrated, hands-free, at your pace.
This sits alongside the wearable-driven side of AuraFlex we have written about before—syncing heart rate and HRV data from your flows into your broader training log so a demanding vinyasa sequence can inform tomorrow's recovery, not just today's mood. Now you get to decide exactly what that sequence looks like, and hear it guided back to you.
How This Compares to What Else Is Out There
We are not the only team building at the intersection of yoga sequencing and AI voice—and it is worth being straight about the landscape. FlowBuilder.yoga is the closest analog: a drag-and-drop sequence builder across a large pose library with guided playback that speaks each pose name in English or Sanskrit, plus a "Text to Flow" mode that turns a pasted pose list into a sequence. Its narration, however, is limited to announcing pose names and a countdown timer—not full alignment cueing or breath-paced transition guidance. Separately, tools like Vocallab AI's Yoga Voiceover Generator, Voice Yoga, and ElevenLabs' yoga instructor voice give creators a way to script and generate class narration—but you have to write the script and build the sequence yourself in a different tool first; none of them are a practitioner-facing app that builds the flow and narrates it in one place.
That is the gap AuraFlex sits in: build the sequence, save it, and get full spoken cueing—alignment guidance, breath pacing, transitions—generated automatically from what you built, with a transcript you can read alongside it and a visible AI-Generated disclosure so you always know what you are listening to. Build once. Practice narrated, hands-free, as many times as you want.
Ready to build your own class? Open AuraFlex, tap Advanced Flow Builder, and put together a sequence that actually matches what your body needs today—then let AI voice guide you through it, transcript included. If you have not installed AuraBase yet, now is the moment: grab it on the App Store or Google Play and build your first AI-guided flow today.
Feature Notes
- AuraFlex Advanced Flow Builder: searchable pose library, custom pose entry, drag-style reordering, and x2–x5 loop segments for building sequences of any length.
- AI text-to-speech narration generates opening cues, per-pose alignment guidance, and breath-paced transitions for any saved custom flow.
- In-lesson Transcript view mirrors the spoken narration as scrolling text; screen-stays-on is enforced on mobile for hands-free practice.
- AI-Generated content is visibly labeled with a one-tap flag option; voice guidance is not medical advice.
- Competitive landscape: FlowBuilder.yoga (iOS/iPad/Android/Web) offers drag-and-drop sequencing with guided playback that announces pose names in English or Sanskrit; Vocallab AI, Voice Yoga, and ElevenLabs offer script-to-voice generation tools for creators rather than an integrated build-and-narrate practitioner app.
